What engages me and makes me happy in my Northwest home is a compilation of many things: Furnishings, antiques, family photos, flowers, botanical design fabrics, native arts, etchings, paintings, and the joy of 2nd generation items in my kitchen. Anything that shows a love of where I am, who I am or and who I am with, shines light into my life. For me, Architecture tries to surround these precious items, and be present to the great outdoors: Our cultural spirit lies in our families, our cities and our surrounding nature, and the cultures that have been here, much longer than ours.
